John is a Managing Partner at H&H. He is the former Group Marketing Director of Hogg Robinson plc., where he held responsibility for marketing and communications across both HRG and Fraedom. John was a member of the senior team involved with the sale of Fraedom to Visa and the acquisition of HRG by American Express GBT. He left the business shortly after completion of the deal and describes his career in four phases; Firstly, a foundation in travel (1979-1994), starting as a junior travel agent and ending as director responsible for client management. Secondly; going it alone (1994-2009), diversifying into IT and creating a successful sales and marketing consultancy. Thirdly; returning to travel (2009-2018), leading the HRG global sales and marketing teams and appointed to the executive management board. Phase four began with the launch of his Globalyse consultancy in January 2019, The Travel Carbon Project in September 2019 and now Harvey & Heywood in August 2020.
Sallyanne is a Managing Partner at H&H. She was John’s ‘right hand’ at Hogg Robinson plc as Director of Marketing and Communications. Sallyanne’s career has one constant – a passion for communications and marketing. Her experience is deep and broad, it spans B2B and B2C, in-house and agency, private and plc, global and national. With the last 12 years immersed in travel and technology - at HRG, American Express GBT and Ciklum - Sallyanne has created and deployed effective communication campaigns, successful demand generation programs and engaging transformation projects. August 2020 sees her working once again with John to create Harvey & Heywood.
